lincredits software package provides Generate nicely-formatted versions of the Linux CREDITS file, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lincredits
lincredits is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lincredits package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lincredits *
You will get with lincredits package name, version, architecture and description in a table
